Welcome to cashew. By creating an account or using cashew(“the Service”), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Who can use cashew

cashewis for current college students. You must sign up with a valid .edu email address and be at least 18 years old. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it.

Listings and conduct

You are responsible for the accuracy of any listing you post and for your conduct on the Service. Don’t post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, don’t harass other users, and don’t use cashew for anything illegal. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

cashew is a platform, not a party to your agreement

cashew helps students find and connect with each other to buy and sell items. We are not a party to any sale, exchange, or other agreement between users, we do not own or handle any items, and we do not verify the accuracy of listings or the identity of users beyond .edu email verification. Any agreement you enter into with another user is solely between you and that user. We strongly encourage you to inspect any item in person, confirm payment details carefully, and never send money before confirming an item is real.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law,cashew is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes with other users, inaccurate listings, or any transaction made through the Service.
